Yes, we also offer appraisal and umpire services for anyone needing a dispute resolution.

To streamline the claim resolution process, the property owner and insurance company sometimes bring in a third party to resolve appraisal estimate differences. An impartial umpire — with no ties to either party — performs their own appraisal using expert opinions to arrive at a number. Their final number is indisputable.

When the parties involved hire separate appraisers and the estimates differ, they may need help to reach a consensus. Rather than continuing with fruitless negotiations, hiring an umpire may be the best way to resolve the issue. The parties may agree to allow the umpire to make a “binding” decision.

On every single claim that we get called out on, we’re going to do a Matterport scan to document all the existing conditions in a 3D virtual tour. Then we use a line-item sheet and start with the ceiling, go to the walls, then go to the floor to make sure every detail is documented to best scope the loss. We enter all into our database on site.

Insurance appraisers may work directly for the insurance company adjuster, for an independent adjuster or a public adjuster.

They are tasked with assessing the extent of the damage and calculating repairs or replacements to rebuild the property to pre-loss condition.

Our team undergoes rigorous training and stays updated on industry standards and regulations. We conduct thorough, on-site assessments and utilize advanced software and tools to ensure precise measurements and calculations. We also use opinions from experts to obtain real numbers, not estimates.
